Terms of service

These terms form the agreement between you and MimicRadar when you create an account or subscribe. Please read them before you sign up.

1. Who we are

MimicRadar is operated by the company named in our company details page. References to “we”, “us” and “MimicRadar” mean that company. “You” means the business that holds the account.

2. What the service does

MimicRadar searches the open web, Google's business listing data and a set of business directories every day for entries that carry your business name, and shows what it finds in your dashboard. When something new appears we email the address on your account.

The service is a monitoring and evidence tool. We do not remove content, contact third parties, file takedown or trademark complaints, or act as your representative. We are not a law firm and nothing in the product is legal advice.

3. Accuracy and coverage

Public search results and directory data are incomplete and change constantly. We cannot promise that every copy of your business will be found, that findings are always correct, or that a result is unlawful. Every finding needs your own judgement before you act on it.

4. Your account

You must give accurate business details, keep your login credentials confidential, and be authorised to enter the company and location data you add. You are responsible for everything done through your account.

You may not use the service to monitor a business you have no connection to, to harass anyone, to scrape the product itself, or to break any applicable law.

5. Price, billing and cancellation

The subscription costs USD 5 per month, charged in advance through our payment provider Stripe. It renews automatically each month until you cancel.

You can cancel at any time from the billing page in your account. Cancellation stops future charges and monitoring continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. Full details, including the EU right of withdrawal, are on our cancellations and refunds page.

Prices exclude any VAT or sales tax that applies to you; where tax is due it is shown at checkout. We may change the price with at least 30 days' notice by email, and you can cancel before the change takes effect.

6. Availability

We aim to keep the service running continuously but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, third-party outages and rate limits on the sources we search can delay or interrupt a daily check.

7. Your data

How we handle personal data is described in our privacy policy. You keep all rights in the business data you enter; you grant us the permission needed to run searches and store findings for you while your account exists.

8. Our responsibility

The service is provided as described in these terms and, to the extent the law allows, without other warranties. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost goodwill, or for damage caused by a copy we did not detect or by action you took on a finding.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

9. Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms, that is used unlawfully, or whose payment fails after we have asked you to fix it. On termination we delete or anonymise account data as described in the privacy policy.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes are announced by email at least 30 days before they apply, and continuing to use the service after that date means you accept them.

11. Law and disputes

MimicRadar is operated by Lerudi Consulting S.L., Calle Pozos de Sierrezuela 32, 29651 Las Lagunas, Malaga, Spain. These terms are governed by Spanish law and disputes may be brought before the courts of Malaga, Spain. If you are a consumer resident in the EU or EEA, you keep the protection of your local mandatory consumer law and may bring proceedings in your own country. Nothing in these terms prevents either of us from seeking urgent relief from a court.
