Our mission

A business name is the shortest promise a company makes. When somebody else uses it — a cloned site, a second map listing with a different phone number, a directory entry nobody wrote — that promise starts working for the wrong people, and the owner is usually the last to know.

MimicRadar exists to shorten that gap to a single day. We watch, we tell you where and what, and we leave the decision to you. No takedowns in your name, no guesswork, no noise on the days when nothing happens.

Company description (boilerplate)

Copy this paragraph as-is when you need a standard description of the company.

MimicRadar is a subscription service that checks the open web, Google business listings and ten major business directories every day for fake copies of a company, and emails the owner as soon as one appears. Matching is on the exact business name, findings always carry their source, and nothing is ever removed or reported without the owner's decision. MimicRadar costs 5 USD per month and can be cancelled at any time.

Logo and usage

MimicRadar radar-sweep logo mark

The radar mark and the MimicRadar wordmark may be used in articles, reviews and listings about us, at any size that keeps the sweep line legible.

  • Please write the name as one word with two capitals: MimicRadar.
  • Don't stretch, recolour or rotate the mark, or place it inside another logo.
  • Keep clear space around it roughly equal to the width of the radar circle.
  • The mark works on dark and light backgrounds; use the PNG as supplied.
